Anthropic secures multiple gigawatts of Google TPU capacity with Broadcom from 2027

DealComputeFrontierUSConfirmed

Anthropic signed an agreement with Google and Broadcom for multiple gigawatts of next-generation TPU capacity, coming online from 2027 and mostly sited in the US. It builds on Anthropic's October 2025 TPU expansion and its November 2025 pledge of $50bn for US AI infrastructure; Anthropic said its run-rate revenue had passed $30bn.

Why it matters

It deepens Anthropic's bet on Google TPUs alongside AWS Trainium and NVIDIA GPUs, making TPUs a major non-NVIDIA route to frontier-scale compute.
