Anthropic launches Claude for Healthcare with HIPAA-ready tools for providers and payers

Anthropic announced HIPAA-ready Claude offerings for health systems and insurers, with connectors to the CMS Coverage Database, ICD-10 codes, the National Provider Identifier registry and PubMed, plus agent skills for prior-authorisation review, claims appeals and FHIR development. Pro and Max subscribers in the US can also connect lab results and records through HealthEx and Function, with Apple Health and Android Health Connect in beta.
