Google launches Gemini 3 Pro, shipping it in Search on day one
Google DeepMind released Gemini 3 Pro in preview, claiming the top LMArena score (1501 Elo), 37.5% on Humanity's Last Exam without tools and 91.9% on GPQA Diamond, with a 'Deep Think' mode scoring higher. It was the first Gemini model put into Google Search at launch, and came with Antigravity, an agent-first coding platform.
Why it matters
Distribution through Search put a frontier model in front of billions of users immediately, intensifying the release race with OpenAI and Anthropic.
